Portrane Hockey Club has a lot to offer whether you are a beginner or an experienced player. We start from 6 year olds right through to the Vets team where age is no reason to stop.
Whether you are interested in pushing yourself to a higher level or just interested in making friends and enjoying the atmosphere.
Portrane Hockey Club have a large, active and fun junior section with boys and girls teams ranging from 6-16 years of age. There are c.250 club members under 18 years of age.
All sections are played with mixed ability until 2nd year and Portrane Hockey Club promotes inclusion and enjoyment in all sessions. Our aim is to actively support youth health and well being though sports development….and fun!
We boast a strong coaching ethos supported by a dedicated and co-ordinated team. We compete annually in various fun tournaments as well as some teams competing in Leinster League and Cup competitions.
We are playing right in the Centre of Donabate village on the band new Olympic Hockey pitch.
